In Gnieżdżewo, Kaszuby, Poland, windmills almost surround the entire village. They rise behind the houses, visible from almost every window. Depending on the direction of the wind they are whistling or not; for some people they are a source of income, and for others a reason to envy - 'my neighbor was successful, and I am not .' What is surprising, windmills seemed to have a quite strong interference in the natural surrounding . For most inhabitants, however, they have become something unnoticed. They do not bother them, they even associate them with their home.
